What is an Eye Exam and when should I be seen?
All age groups even children should have a comprehensive eye exam even if they pass a school screening. A comprehensive eye exam provides a complete examination of the eye health and visual system. The exam allows the optometrist to determine your glasses prescription. Comprehensive eye exams should begin as early as 10 months to ensure proper eye and vision development. Ongoing eye health examinations at regular intervals as determined by your eyecare professional are also important as many eye diseases and vision changes can occur without warning signs.
Dr. Ahmann is very compassionate and wonderful at her job. She is always professional, thorough and great with kids!
